Our Day in Nature...

We left the hotel really early for Yosemite National Park and continued sleeping on the bus. When we arrived we got more excited at the beautiful nature all around us, and the Norwegians got flashbacks of their home country! There were waterfalls and streams and cliffs and it was all amazing.
When we arrived at the park we had a Bear Talk with a Park Ranger, where we learned that bears can climb trees, run 40 miles and hour, and swim super fast…so if we see a bear, the best thing to do is scream! This talk left us excited and hoping to see a bear during our time in the park.
We started our hike to the top of the Vernal Falls. Even though it was a tough hike, the nature is so pretty that we didn’t even really think about it. We could hear sound of water roaring down the fall which was so nice. We didn’t see a bear, but we saw the view from the top and it was so amazing with the mountains and waterfalls, we’ll never forget it.
Today was Nazli’s birthday, so way up high on the top of this massive waterfall – we celebrated and sang in all of our languages!!!!
We were exhausted and tired after our hike so we went to dinner at the Yosemite Lodge. After the good dinner, we went on the bus to get back to the hotel where we all jumped instantly in the pool – nice and sweaty after our big day!
The day was amazing and we are really excited to see San Francisco tomorrow…and we get to SLEEP IN!
