A Day Full of Stars and Sand

Hollywood…land of the stars. Sometimes you hear of people running into celebrities randomly, but today we had the chance to see many at once! We visited Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum and took pictures with the stars…the wax statues were so real we felt like we were famous because we could get so close to them.
We also had a chance to follow the celebrities trail on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. We got to see so many famous people’s stars and it was cool to think about all the stars who have been in this same place before.
At the Chinese Theater we even saw hand and footprints of important people in Hollywood…like the cast of Harry Potter, Michael Jackson, and many others!
We also got a small view of the famous Hollywood sign, it was so cool to see it in real life since we have seen it in so many movies…and there it was! It was just so hard to believe that we were actually in Hollywood…we’ve only dreamed of coming here, and now it’s like a dream come true.
Next, “let’s go to the beach, beach” at Huntington Beach. How many people can say that have visited an OC California beach? Well today, we did. We spent the afternoon chasing waves, walking along the boardwalk, and playing on the beach. Some of us played volleyball, others football, and some soccer. The waves were so much fun because they were huge, now we understand why this beach is called ‘Surf City USA.” For a lot of us, it was the first time swimming in the Pacific Ocean which was so cool. It was such a chill and cool afternoon –and interesting to see a beach in the US…it looked picture perfect from the open space in the sand to the real life guard lookouts.
After the beach we went to a restaurant and had a lot of fun…now we’re chilling at the hotel listening to wonderful piano music from Rodrigo. We can’t wait to get to Disneyland…WE ARE TOO EXCITED TO SLEEP! Tomorrow is going to be another awesome day.
